Father Eid :: A Worlds First!

12 01 2007

Father EidOkay, this is an oldie… It’s a picture of me taken from our Eid party in 2004.

I don’t see why Muslim kids should lose out on not celebrating Christmas and not having a Father Christmas figure. So, I decided to invent Father Eid, who turns up dressed like the Taliban and hands out suspect packages to the children.

I wanted to post this up and go down on record as being the worlds first Father Eid. Okay, so I played him like an old perv and scared the kids and mothers, but it was all good fun - for me anyway.

If anyone wants to dispute my claim, I’ll fight you for it.

Good thinking. Maybe use camels instead of reindeer to carry the presents. What’s the equivalent of the Chrsitmas stocking? You need to work out all these details, my human friend.

Hmm… good point.

Camels are indeed a good idea.

For stockings, the only thing I can think of at the moment would be a pair of Shalwar Kameez’s, with a knot tied to the bottom.

:)
