Leicester City Stadium Development
This was the first ever fully immersive VR walk-through for Leicester City’s new stadium development in 2001.
Aerial photography was used to place the virtual stadium in the correct physical location. Producing a full scale replica of the proposed structure enabled users to get a true feeling of scale and the building’s environmental impact.
All 40,000 seats in the stadium were modelled, allowing season ticket holders a unique opportunity to take a look at the pitch from the seat of their choice before purchasing the ticket.
The software was also featured in the Guardian newspaper.
